Sexual reproduction in the evolutionary art

Recombination by inserting

We now present sexual reproduction processes, that means recombination operations performed on metamorphoses images and on space images. This is a so called data orientated evolutionary process which uses selected image processing operations as mutation and recombination instrument. Hence the recombination shall be applied by inserting a copy of the image a into the structure of image B. By this a common offspring of A and B is produced.

Post processing

In the context of the total art process the post processing by the artist plays a mayor role in the framework of the evolutionary part processes. The recombination result though using indistinct masks does not have the value of a homogenous art work which should be aimed at in the physical presentation.
